The Judiciary Selection Process consists of three stages, Prelims Exam, Mains Exam, and Viva-Voce/ Personal Interview. Every state has its own pattern for prelims, mains, and interviews.
- Preliminary Examination:It is the first stage of the judiciary selection process, constituting Objective Type Questions, and acts as a screening test for the Mains exam.
- Mains Examination:After clearing the preliminary exam, candidates must appear for the Mains Examination which consists of descriptive-type questions.
- Viva Voce (Personal Interview): Candidates who clear the Mains exam are called for the Viva Voce, which is the interview round.
